Ever since I was a child, I always wanted to be a doctor. Whenever anyone would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, the answer was “a doctor”. The thought of taking care of someone fascinated me. My idea was to be a doctor that took care of “little kids and old people.” My family always told me that I did not have to stick with my childhood dream, but that is what I want to do. YSU has a great way of schooling me in that. Maybe even while I am there I might change my mind and switch my major or field of study. I have always been a nice and kind person, and I think it has something to do with the way I was raised. I have two loving parents that always push me in every activity I do. So far, the first part of my goal is almost achieved. I have never had anything other than an A on my report card and I hope I can continue that achievement for the remainder of my senior year. This alone is probably my greatest and favorite accomplishment I have ever done. I am in many different clubs within my school such as science club, LEO club and the NHS. I feel like since I am in all of these clubs it will help further my education and social skills and in turn help me in college with my studies. After I finish high school, I am hoping to get into YSU and study in the medical field. I am not sure how long that may take but I am willing to put in the time for a job that will make me happy and successful in the long run. After all the appropriate schooling, I am hoping I know exactly what I want to be. I am not too sure what type of doctor I even want to be. Lately I have been contemplating on whether or not I want to actually be a doctor. I have been thinking about doing something that involves engineering, but I am still not too sure. I am hoping that YSU can help me decide on which profession I want to go into and change my life for the
