The goals of behavior analysis as a science are to understand and explain behavior, predict behavior, and control behavior. These goals are achieved through the systematic observation and measurement of behavior, and the identification of functional relationships between behavior and its environmental variables. Also, the development and the application of effective interventions that are based upon the principles of behavior analysis (Cooper et al, 2020). To implement ABA goals into my professional work, I will consistently apply the principles of behavior analysis in my assessments, interventions, and my evaluations. Contribute to the advancement, research, and practices, and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with behavior challenges. Through this ABA program, I hope to gain a deep understanding of the principles and the techniques of behavior analysis, refine my assessment and intervention skills and become proficient in designing and implementing behavior change programs. I also strive to become a BCBA and actively spread positivity and promote evidence-based practices in the field (Board Certified Behavior Analyst, 2023). By achieving these goals, I also aim to provide effective and ethical behavioral analytic services to individuals and their families. Based on the pre-assessment of the decks for this week, my plan for studying them is to devote time each day to review the materials, create flashcards for memorizing, and actively engage with the content through practices, quizzes, and other exercises. I will also seek clarification on any challenging concept or questions from my peers, and instructor to ensure a thorough understanding of the materials.
