Success and happiness are the end result of following your passions and interests. For me, the areas that energize me are academics that are highly integrated into my life. I find the biological sciences, children and social interactions highly enjoyable. Throughout my middle school and high school years, I have spent a majority of my time exploring these disciplines. I started with my school's general science classes and have now climbed to the most rigorous courses which continues to peak my interests. In terms of my personality, I consider myself an extrovert and love class related activities that involve engaging with my teachers and peers. area, I know that Georgetown University’s programs and culture will allow me to follow my passions and achieve my goals. Being that it is a top ranked university with its core strengths in research, Georgetown would give me fantastic opportunities to go beyond the classroom and work with faculty on real life projects. For example, the university’s GUROP program to allow students to work directly with various faculties would be a great asset. Being able to learn from the experts and seek their guidance is of great value to me. During my visit to Georgetown, the unique characteristics of the university struck me. Attending a university that has a major social network outside of the campus, yet has a very quiet environment within the campus is essential for me. I believe that Georgetown can cater to these needs of mine because when I was on campus, I did not feel like I was in the midst of the city environment. However, just a few steps away from the campus, the atmosphere of the city was vibrant and dynamic. In addition, within the campus, the faculty members that I met were extremely relatable.
