The cruelty of animals has been happening all over the world for many years and it is a huge problem in today’s society. Most abuse to animals seems to give some kind of personal gain for the person that is causing them harm whether it is money or to make them feel like a bigger and stronger individual or personal pleasure. Tons of different animals like dogs, cats, chickens, horses and many other are beaten, starved, murdered for their meat and fur and have cruel and inhumane test run on them. Other animals might be abandoned by their owners on roadsides and left to die alone and the ones who have homes may be neglected, fed a small amount of food and receive no love from the family that owns them. Somes animals may be saved from their demise but there is still too great of a number of others that need help. A human is a living breathing intelligent organism and so are animals. Animals even though we cannot understand them they have a voice and they also have feelings that we should consider too.
Body Paragraph 2 Animal cruelty is also doing experimental studies on them for human gain.Most animals being experimented on do not fully under the Animal Welfare Act and do not receive the protection that would help them out. “Since rats, mice, birds, and fish do not fall under the umbrella of the AWA, labs are not required to count them, yet AAVS estimates that they comprise 95 percent of all animals in labs. Unlike the U.S., the European Union and Canada provide regulatory and legal protection for these animals,”(“Which Animals Are Being Used”). Other countries are furthered developed and have more laws for the protection of all animals and America should care because it seems a little barbaric that kills millions of animals for products and medicines that do not even work.
