A. Introduction
The Chesapeake IT Consulting (CIC) was founded in Baltimore, Maryland since 2004 and does consult services that utilize proven IT and management methodologies to achieve measurable results for its customers. The CIC provides consulting in business process, IT, and IT outsourcing while all providing giving their customers exponential services because of their employees. As the organization's strategy is to bring business solutions to their customers they want to maintain informed about new technology to implement it with a new business concept. Recruiters The recruiters are Paul O’Brien (along with Mac Thompson and Juliet Jackson). The recruiters would like to be provided with the new software so they can provide excellent services. Having the new software will reduce the risk of losing applicants information. As well as, provide status updates quickly when information is requested.
7. Administrative Assistant The administrative assistant is Ted Anderson. Mr. Ted Anderson’s duty is to aid the recruiters with the hiring process. Mr. Anderson is also responsible for submitting the applications to the corresponding hiring manager. When there is a lot of applications received, it is hard to keep track because the company currently uses paperwork to keep track.
8. Hiring Manager (In functional area) The hiring manager believes that with an electronic system he will be able to keep track of job openings, information of applicants, and the current status in the hiring process. The CIC hiring system is currently done manually, by adding technology in this process the hiring system will become better. The new system in the chart below will allow for the company to save cost, increase workflow, and accelerate the selection process.
