Every human being is shaped by a world view, whether they are conscious of this or not. Some individuals are aware that they have a world view and know exactly how to describe it, while others are clueless as to what their world view is. There are also many different world views, ranging from the Eastern view of loyalty, to the Western view of individualism. In this paper, the Christian world view will be discussed. The Christian world view is based on three distinct events-creation, the fall of man, and the redemption of man.
Education must be connected to a purpose for living. “An adequate Christian understanding of the purpose of education must then be built on an adequate Christian understanding of the purpose for life” (Graham, 2009, p.49). Education is one component that influences the development of a child’s character. Other factors consist of parenting, family, education, and mentors. “Christian educators, however, have been encouraged to examine their worldviews and then to realign them to a biblical worldview, which is an understanding of the world as revealed through scripture” (Dickens, 2014).
Yes, upon reading this week lesson it speaks about the world was created about four thousand years ago. God put this world together in six days with all kinds and species of all thing that were to exist in it. Shirley gives an example of how the world looked to her. She mentioned everything was in a bowl. The earth even was perceived to be a flat disk with the mountains and valleys.
Imagine a car speeding around a looped road. Though it may seem like this car is headed toward someplace, in reality, it will ultimately end up where it was in the beginning, just to begin looping around the road all over again. Now imagine another car, however, this one has a very specific purpose. Rather than driving in circles, it heads toward a mapped destination.
It is with certainty that a Christian Worldview can be applied to the humanitarian efforts of child advocacy. Jesus, the greatest humanitarian who ever walked on this planet, made it abundantly clear that children are a blessing; ergo, they are to be taught the ways of the Lord and protected (Matthew 18:12-14: Mark 10:13-16: Luke 18:15-17). Christians are admonished to take an interest in the welfare of widows, orphans, the disabled, seniors, and others who of a lower socioeconomic background (Jeremiah 7:5-7). Therefore, it is imperative that (a) social justice is defined, in addition to (b) determining Gods’ principles of social justice, and (c) the Christian position on State sponsored social action is addressed (Wheaten, 2008, para. 2).
I believe that a worldview is how a person looks at the things that transpire in their life, and the lives of individuals around them. My belief-system tells me that all people were created by God, and were created as equals. While my worldview is important, I believe the Apostle Paul’s messages in the book of Romans explains in more of a biblical sense what a righteous man or woman worldview consists of. Romans 1-8 provide a God-fearing person with imperative information that will shape his or her worldview for the better.
From the very start, God was and still is the creator of all things. Genesis one through two explains exactly how God formed the Earth into what it is today. This time was pivotal to all mankind because it is when God decided the world needed many things, including humans. The following is what many followers of Christ and what I believe is the origin of the universe. To begin God’s seven days of creation, He decided to bring light unto the world and then He “separated the light from the darkness”
I. Introduction: In the world there are 19 major religions (Barrett, Johnson, & Kurian, 2001) and thousands of subgroups of those religions and other minor religions. With so many religions of the world, many people wonder what makes Christianity so unique. The one thing that sets Christianity apart from all other religions is Jesus Christ. It is more than just the person Jesus; it is the personal relationship that each person has with Jesus and what he did for man.
Introduction Throughout the class I was able to learn and comprehend the bible in a new way. Throughout my life I hear about God, Jesus, the bible and notable people from the bible. However, I never knew the history or the full story about many of these things. God God is the supreme being, he is the creator of the universe.
Our worldview shapes much of the way that we perceive the world. Hinduism is one of the world’s major religions with the roots dating back 2000 years ago in the ancient India. Since the influences of Hinduism's closely related to India, it is necessary to study both the worldview and country itself to deliver the most effective message. When someone becomes trapped in such a powerful worldview, everything they understand is influenced by their culture without participants awareness. As a result the importance of learning principles Hindu’s value so christians are able to comprehend their perception.
My biblical worldview before this course was centered on scriptures and seeing things through them. Computer technology had helped me to enhance my biblical view by allowing me to access scriptures instantly on a situation. I find this useful when I remember a verse but cannot quote it back. You Version on my smartphone allows me to mark verses for later use and it organizes The Bible more concise for learning. Personal use of computers involved communication, bill pay, entertainment, work, and online learning.
If they once cared for me, then it’s my time now to care for them. When a baby is born a mother knows that at that moment they are not living anymore their life’s alone that they have a miracle from God. Their whole life takes a 180 degrees change. Their responsibility is to care for that child, teach that child, and prepare them for the future.

Christianity is the belief that Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah talked about in the Old Testament who was sent to Earth by God in order to die for everyone’s sins and promise them everlasting life if they follow him and his word. Christianity is an Abrahamic Monotheistic religion that started in the 1st century AD in the region of Judaea under the Roman Empire. Many believe that Jesus Christ is the founder of Christianity, due to him laying the foundation and groundwork for Christianity. Whereas, the Apostle Paul is viewed as the great interpreter of Jesus’ mission and as one of the most important and influential figures in Christian history. In 2010, about 37% of Christians resided in the Americas, 26% residing in Europe, 24% residing
I was raised as a Christian and embraced the faith for many years. During this time, I read the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, rejecting all other religions as bogus, believing that Christianity was the only true pathway to God and salvation. It was while studying at the University of the West Indies that I began to question the rationality of my beliefs. The churches that I had attended were Anglican and Missionary, and the doctrines of many other denominations were alien to me. So I invited Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons into my home and engaged them in conversations regarding their beliefs, as well as entertaining dialogue with Roman Catholics, Seventh-day Adventists, Pentecostals and others.
