While common core can be argued that it creates higher standard of education, removing it would be a fine by many teachers in Florida. Removing common core would take less stress off of the educators and in-turn students alike. Common core does not even accuraltely judge a child's knowledge effictively. It is for these reasons that if Common core is removed, that it would benefit the educational system.

Common core adds stress to teachers. Our teachers have enough stress already, having to deal with overfilled classrooms and underfunded resources. Some in support of it would say common core should make less stress on teachers by unifying what children should know at the different level of their education. However, not all students are the same at these different levels, like my daughter who has a individualize educational plan or IEP, that will not carry over into middle school next year and at that point she will have to keep up or fail. This along with the fact that schools fundings are now based upon how well their students perform forces teachers to judge children's weaknesses and assign them extra help in those areas. The teachers being stress is filtering down into our children, my daughter comes home quite often and tells me about how her teacher is upset and angry. This has a natural effect on our children. This stress prohibits their learning which continues to cause the stress. Again being removed from their classrooms not only causes the teachers problems, but the students are being removed from their learning environment to go off and be tutored in some little room down the hall. Studies have shown that learning in a relax comfortable environment is how students learn the best, not being pulled in and out of classrooms to try and make the schools look better because otherwise they receive less funding. Common core does not grade our children's knowledge correctly
