As I signed up for english I thought how in the world was I going to pass this class knowing writing has been a issue for me. I enjoy writing but when it comes to research papers, essays etc, It is an no for me. I’ve always had a issue with sentence fragments, putting commas in the correct place. I’ve never been a fan of writing long papers but I’m not knocking anyone who does. My writing has improved throughout the years I’ve been in school, as well as college. The first day I received my essay paper guidelines, I realized there is more to writing than just putting words on a page.
Expanding my writing has always been difficult and frustrating. When I started English 111 the first time I wanted to become a better writer, and to expand my vocabulary words. Professor Wisdom had faith that I could pass as I should she has showed me that I can do it! Therefore I will use her knowledge and ideas in the future. I would like to say this class has influenced me to want to become a better writer. I want to become a better writer and a better reader which I have gained in english 111. I use have terrible test scores in high school on my writing and reading in english class. After all of the essays I’ve did this semester I feel like I wrote better last semester than this semester.
