In high school it can be difficult and overwhelming deciding where you want to continue your studies, let alone what you’d like to major in. As college acceptances started rolling in, it felt like nearly everyone knew which direction they were headed. Friends were already committing to schools and some were even planning to move across the country to pursue their dreams. I knew my dream was to become a business major, but to say you were a business major was vague. There had to be a field in business I liked. Although I wasn't sure what it was as a high school senior, I decided to pursue the journey to my Business career at Baruch College.

I was intrigued by what the Fashion Merchandising Management program had to offer, especially the hands-on learning experiences. The unique opportunities offered by the Fashion Merchandising Management program such as internships and studying abroad sustained my interest for the school.
Upon researching into the Fashion Merchandising Management program, I was ecstatic by what it had to offer. What caught my interest was reading how graduates from FIT are highly sought after by recruiters from Macy’s, Bloomingdales, Ann Taylor and Saks Fifth Avenue, which is where I could see myself working.
