I’m most proud of my two terms as ASB Director of Communications, the student spokesperson for the ASB and faculty. The job demands proficiency in graphic design, public speaking, and time management; responsibilities include creating posters, broadcasting PSAs, commentating class competitions, and sending weekly emails to an audience of 1600 students. I’ve led two ASB committees to coordinate our school’s Stanford Blood Drive and FairTrade Initiative. I’m also the go-to guy who answers all students’ general questions. How many times a week does an email from a complete stranger pop up in the inbox?
After graduating from UC Merced, I will continue to be a loyal supporter to the university and to the students who will remain. I will come back to UCM and offer many opportunities for students to be able to succeed and to further expand their skills for their future careers. These opportunities will include internships and jobs, that will help them develop professionally. I will also continue to carry the pride of being a Bobcat with me by providing a positive message about the school. I will promote UCM and advocate for it so that other people could be aware of the great things that it has to offer and so that more college-bound students can enroll.

It would also give me the chance to explore my options to see if that really is the path I wish to follow for my career.

Upon graduating from the Athletic Training Program at GCU there are multiple different routes that I can see myself taking whether it be Graduate School or beginning a career. Although I am not completely sure on the path I want to take I know I have many options. Through my practice so far I have developed a high interest in patient care and have found more pleasure in the clinical setting working one-on-one with patients of all ages. Through our previous assignment for the personality assessment, I found that I work well in a group, therefore the clinical setting allows for a collaborative learning environment with other health care professionals.
No matter where I am or what I am doing, people around me always insult each other in vulgar ways. Whether swearing or calling someone an inappropriate name, there is no other word that is as offensive as retarded. Seeing as people with disabilities cannot control what they do, does not give anybody the right to mock them. This issue frustrates me and is something I want to fix. My goal is to eradicate the r-word from my generation and the younger generation 's slang vocabulary.

After completing my B.S in Community Human Services at Empire State College, I felt extremely fulfilled in my accomplishment. However, I quickly learn or come to a realization that our children of tomorrow need more than just an attentive ear, a shoulder to lean on, and an empathetic individual. In

The main factor that drew me to Rutgers University was the wide variety of options available to students. Rutgers is a large research university with many major choices; I believed that I would be able to find the major that was best for me. After reviewing my options thoroughly, I have come to the decision that the Information Technology and Informatics major is everything that I want to get out of my education. The ITI program not only encourages students to understand how information technologies work, but also how they affect society; I am sure that having such an understanding will allow me to work up to my highest potential. In addition, I value the non-technical skills, such as critical thinking and problem solving, that the ITI program will help me develop.
The South Carolina Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics is proof that prosperity is a possibility for students who may not be where they intend to stay in their future. I was amazed when I came to the realization that this school has the power to change my life, academics, and especially my future. I am drawn to become a student at SCGSSM to further: my academic interests. abilities, and talents.
