From class what I have learned about leadership is that when someone takes charge they need to bring the group together. When the leader brings the group together everyone works well. In the group others would share ideas, collaborate together, and merge the ideas they came up with so that everyone had contributed to the projects. The definition of leadership to me is taking charge of a group or a project, bringing the group together, and getting the best possible outcome of work for all the members included in the project. The type of leader that I am is a Democratic leader. I feel that I am this type of leader because while working in groups I encourage everyone to work to get their goal accomplished. If you have bad ethics, leadership skills will be put to use in bad ways that others will question and that some will follow. Having good ethics, leadership skills will come easier and quickly and will not be frowned upon by as many people. Bad ethics could be engaging in a shady business or doing something you know is bad but will end up helping only one person. Good ethics would be knowing if completing a certain action will only help one person, not doing that action, and completing the action that would help many in the long run. Being a leader having good ethics rather than bad would set you apart from others because wanting something for more than the benefit to one is better for being a leadership positon. I think the classes should have been held in the NAB from the start of the course. The NAB is set up perfectly for team collaboration and for group work in a full learning and technology friendly environment. Being the one of the pilot classes with the iPads, have classes from the start in the NAB would have allowed us to use them more and learn about them more. That is what I had disliked about the course. Other than those I believe the course was great and would not change a thing. Working in teams is great for everyone, the green screen project really brought the groups together and the case studies were great ways to get the groups together outside of class
