I am an ambitious and passionate young man with a Bachelor degree in Physics applying to the M.A. in Physics program at Queens College. During my brief experience as a physics instructor at a higher education institution, I had discovered that I was challenged by two specific deficiencies that withhold my professional development and the realization of my full potential; an inadequate level of English proficiency to research new advances in the field that have yet to be translated in Arabic, and insufficient knowledge and skills to participate in producing research that can potentially advance the study and education of the science in Saudi Arabia. While I have succeed in addressing the former through my English studies in the U.S., it is the latter that I seek to …show more content…
Academically, as a student of Physics, I have had the chance to learn the fundamentals and concentrations of the science and the common applications of physics, and present several research papers, such as my graduation project that explored Nanotechnology. Not only did this project present me with the chance to study a relatively new aspect of physics, but it was also instrumental the development of my research skills. Whereas, as a student of the M.A. in Physics program, I look forward to enhance my understanding of the science and focus my studies and research on solar power and nanotechnology, for both are of significant interest to me and public, private, academic and scientific circles in my country. I also look forward to enhance my research, documentation and presentation skills and ultimately, maximize on all opportunities and resources of your program in realizing true personal, academic and professional
