When I look at myself as a leader I am what they call a ‘silent leader’. I believe in the stillness of quiet and listening to other’s ideas and perceptions before I interject my own thoughts. I am respectful, thoughtful with my words and remain calm at all times while working with others. Kid President once said, “Be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody.” This quote is something that I think about each time I work with others.
When I decided to attend New Tech High @ Coppell, I knew that I wanted to be a part of Learner Leadership Council. I was impressed by all that the group stood for with its core values and strong belief of community partnership and service. I have been an active member of Learner Leadership

Serving others is something that has spoken to my heart. This year I submitted my application to be a part of The National Charity League Coppell. This service organization reaches out to other organizations and charities and assists with acts of service. I like the quote from Mahatma Gandhi that says, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” When it comes to academics I have a strong work ethic and take new learning very seriously. I am contentious about my grades and school assignments, take pride in doing my best and always strive to for high performance. Even dealing with missing school due to having mono I worked hard to complete all of my assignments and exams while working with my educators. Academics is a top priority for me.
I have been told that I am ‘an old sole’ since I see things around me in a different way from most and it shows in the way that I treat others. I strive to be caring, patient and thoughtful in all situations. I make sure to treat others fairly and with kindness. It all goes back to what my parents thought me; “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” I hope that my character shows that in all that I do and
