Computers are the driving force of the 21st century. It is down to the advance systems that programme the codes like HTML and JAVA, which enable the core of our society to function. Without such advancements in technology we would not have the efficient services we have today. It is through the study of information and computation that the discipline can be explored further. Within the Business world the information technology used is ever changing and I'll like to be apart of this changing process. I have been interested in the Business world since I took GCSE Business Studies, this has led to me further my education in Business to A-Level where I took a Economics and Business Course. The combination of both these courses into one, would lead to engage through out this course, due to me having a vast interest within both fields. In a recent Ted Talks lecture I listened to, it outlines the growing need for a new way to produce food. Caleb Harper presents a lecture called 'This computer will grow your food in the future,' emphasising the need for this to solve the world crisis. He states "We've created an interface for this that's much like a game. They have a 3D environment; they can log into it anywhere in the world on their smartphone, on their tablet." Whilst there I was taught the basics of diagnosing and solving problems when dealing with computers. Although some customers may have been challenging, I took the initiative to be rational through the process of asking them short questions to diagnose the problem. Another skill that my work place taught me was being resilient.
