Professionally, an SVP/GM position would be the next logical step in my career and the MBA is a requirement for most organizations. The current role of Area Manager for Eaton Corporation has offered a tremendous opportunity to grow as an individual and as a leader in the Power Quality business. Leading this business and being a manager of people have provided an education that would rival any University. Although a University may offer classes in law and employee relations, it would not be able to present the first person experience that results in being involved in a product liability claim or the impact to an employee that has been the subject of harassment. Over the years, I have been involved in every aspect of business operations to include strategic planning, developing budgets, operations, organized labor, race discrimination, harassment, product liability, intellectual property and litigation.
