I am interested in a full time position as an Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in the Audit and Assurance Group. Meeting with recruiters such as Sean Pynenburg, Sunwoo Kim and Alanna McRae at various networking sessions gave me a better understanding of the diverse culture at PwC. I also learned about the commitment the firm has made to the personal and professional development of their staff. These values of commitment and resiliency have contributed to PwC’s success as a global leader and I have always embodied those same values. That along with my academic and work experience would make me a great fit and a contributing member of PwC.

As a tax associate and tax preparation volunteer, I was able to provide services for a wide variety of individuals from all sorts of backgrounds. Working with those diverse individuals as well as working in teams challenged my perspectives and expanded my ability to think critically. In my position at A & A Distributing, I took on more of a salesmanship role that involved building new relationships with clients and suppliers. These experiences have made me versatile and able to handle a wide range of social situations.

Also, as a tax associate, I was given the opportunity to have a lead role on an initiative to improve document organization at the firm. I was tasked with working as an intermediary between management and the rest of the staff which included duties such as facilitating discussion, gathering information and generating proposals. I was able to take command while still fostering a spirited environment. I received a commendation letter for the success of this initiative but more importantly I gained valuable leadership experience and skills.
