In order to achieve success, the best way to ensure success is to carefully set goals. Setting such goals can give long-term vision and short-term motivation. Achieving these goals can increase self-confidence in our competency. Ideally, these goals should be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and set to be achieved within a specific time span. I wish to improve on my AP Chemistry grade from an 80 to a 90 by the next marking period. To achieve this goal, I must improve on my test scores by studying more and improving on my study tactics. Moreover, my progress in studying and preparing for the SAT’s and SAT II’s has been steadily dwindling. Most importantly, I hope that I can improve on my overall average. I wish to improve on my AP Chemistry grade from an 80 to a 90 by the next marking period by receiving better test grades. I believe that I have the potential to increase my lowest subject grade because in the previous year, Da Vinci Chemistry was my highest grade, ranging from high 90’s to 100’s. Furthermore, I received good marks for my lab reports in AP Chemistry. However, my test scores range from 70’s to 80’s, I am hoping to score test grades from 80’s to 90’s. I can improve my grade by studying longer and changing my studying habits. For example, I can turn my phone on silent and study in a quieter environment. In …show more content…

I do not know the current ranking now; however, if I want to go to a good college, I should have a high ranking. On the other hand, my grades for my classes are much lower than my grades last year. I usually do the worst in the first marking period because I came back from summer and use my brain academically. Obtaining more sleep enhances my concentration and performance. I should study more frequently and increase the time of studying. I should go to a good college to obtain my long-term goal of achieving my dream
