As a Peer Mentor for the College of Arts and Sciences at Ohio University I have analyzed experiential and excursion learning and gained first hand practice promoting student leadership and success. On the Student Alumni Board at Ohio University I planned creative ways to implement cohesive peer learning and the resources provided to meet each unique students needs on campus. Through my current position in Health Promotion I promote a healthy campus environment through campus wide outreach efforts for multiple student populations. I actively engage with students through social media to provide access for the digital native population to resources and health information.
A student is more likely to succeed when they feel connected and supported through their surrounding campus community.
