Rough Draft Standardized testing is a drag. Most students believe that standardized test should be allowed in schools. Standardized testing is required in most states but, some students would beg to differ. Standardized test are test that are able to tell if you are smart or not. Most students are not happy about taking test but are forced to take the test. Teachers and parents are saying that there should be an easier way for students to take the standardized test.

Students believe that standardized test should not be in schools because they think that it doesn’t prove anything or that it doesn’t serve a purpose. Some students say that they would care less if they got a good grade on the standardized test or not. Students say that it is their parents and teachers fault that they have to take the standardized test. The NCLB (No Child Left Behind) chairman says that it is better for teachers to be more strick on their students that way they may get a better score on a test. Star testing is another test that ties into the standardized testing. 6/10 students that take this test pass. 4/10 students that do not pass this test they only miss by a little. “The standardized American is largely a myth created not least by Americans themselves” said Irwin Edman. The standardized test can also help you get a job in the future. It always looks good on paper when it shows that you are able to learn and are good at learning. If a student or person is very successful on a standardized test they are also granted more choices for a job in the future. So it will always be a good idea to take a standardized test
