“If you are planning for a year, sow rice. If you are planning for a decade, plant trees. If you are planning for a lifetime, educate people”(Chinese proverb). As a Kindergarten teacher you are the start of the little ones lifetime education. They will be around the age of five years old, so for that age group you will be teaching the basics of every subject. The founder of kindergarten is a man name Friedrich Froebel and he introduced kindergarten to the world in 1837 in Germany, and it was brought to America in 1856 by Margarethe Schurz (Richie-Sharp). Froebel started kindergarten because he believed kids should experience that kind of environment, and he had theories on how they should be social for them to learn “kindergarten

To be in this field I believe it would be fun and exciting to go to work everyday and enjoy what I do . You would do various things throughout the day that would keep your day moving rather sitting at a desk working on computer. For most kids it will be there first year of school and I would want to make it memorable while enjoyable because I would want them to love school and carry that with them through their school career.

Teachers are important in this world for that is how we learn. In the United States of America there are currently at “1,517,400”(Bureau of Statistics) teachers. You can find a teaching job anywhere in the states, but the most amount of teachers will be in highly populated areas. For example, Texas, California, and New York are all going to have an abundance of teachers compared to Montana or any small states. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics as of 2014 being a teacher is increasing by 6 percent and will increase by 87,800 people in the next ten
