The educational system is a system that has been developed to help teach and provide students with essential knowledge for everyday life. As students we are given the opportunity to choose our own life path and the education system helps aid the student on their journey. As a sophomore center student I have been granted the opportunity to explore the world of teaching, however, I feel I have only been able to dip my toes in the water and I am ready to jump in. As a student who thrives in teaching situations and enjoys the idea of helping and informing others, I feel the teachers of tomorrow program will help assist my love for teaching and provide a strong basis of real life teaching opportunities.

With one space left in my schedule I was sure that Teachers of Tomorrow was the class for me. With a class that not only offers the essential knowledge to further my teaching career, but also provide real life teaching opportunities, there were no questions about wanting to take this class. However, the major component that intrigued me into wanting to apply was the opportunity of getting to teach others. As a highschool student it is hard to be seen in the eyes of others as someone who should be respected and heard, teens are always looking for outlets to show their strengths. I feel being given the opportunity to teach others and have others listen and be engaged in what you are presenting. A chance to be heard and express your interests and experiences to an audience is the type of opportunity that only Teachers of Tomorrow
