Guns have been a part of history since the first firearm was made in 1364. Over the last few years there have been many shootings across the Country. This makes many people view guns negatively, others not so much. I am a proud supporter of the second amendment. Gun control is a waste of time because there are so many ways to learn about guns, it is the person who does the crime and also it is in our second amendment. Guns have a bad reputation, so that means gun control is a big topic the last few years. Personal guns are not bad there are just bad people who used guns for the wrong reasons. So, many people need to realize that anyone can kill a person without a gun. [103] An example would be the terrorists 9/11, which the terrorist did not use a gun to kill thousands of people, and to this day firefighters are still dying from the cancer he or she got from the smoke of 9/11. Guns are not the problem it is the people pulling the trigger. It is wrong to blame an object that cannot do anything without help of a human. If the mentally ill person wanted to kill someone or a group of people they sure will do it with or without a gun. Gun control will not make a different in a mentally ill person wanting to kill or hurt a group of people. If a person has not been diagnosed with a mental illness then it would not be in their back-ground check. People will blame the guns because people do not want to face the real enemy, which is the person that did the crime. People shouldn’t have to worry about our rights being taken or changed. It is all up to the person who is holding the gun to make to right
