When pondering the idea of how one will be accepted on a college campus they need to know what programs are offered. In order for everyone to feel at home there needs to be a safety zone. Here at Arkansas Tech there is an Ally Training class from the Diversity and Inclusion Office. At the end of each seminar there are stickers that each person can take to hang on their door. That allows a student to know that their office is a safe zone.

University at Brockport Statement of Objectives, by Jonathan Makeley This written statement is for the purpose of communicating my intention to apply for the history master’s program at the University At Brockport. I seek to continue onto the next phase in my progress as a historian and in my area of historical study. In order to do this I am pursuing a graduate’s education in history.
College always seemed to be on my life’s road map. It was never a matter of if I would go, but rather when I would go; what subject would I devote my time to studying and most importantly, which institute would I decide to attend. Regent University, so I have read, “was founded on biblical principles to make a significant difference in our world”. Their mission statement rings true by the testimony given to me by a couple of coworkers that attend Regent and only have the best reports to give. I look forward to joining the Regent family and expanding my mental and spiritual horizons.

The first focus in the University of Charleston’s mission statement is productive work (Ucwv.edu, Mission. 2018). The University of Charleston define productive work as “trying to contribute a positive improvement or impact to society throughout your life” (Ucwv.edu, Mission. 2018). The LLOs that best help us to achieve this focus are communication, creativity, and critical thinking. Communicating is a very important part of productive work because it lays the basics for strong communication to be built upon. If there is poor communication productive work cannot be achieved.
I am grateful to have encountered the National Society of Leadership and Success in my life. It is a pleasure to be the President of the San Juan College NSLS chapter. It has been a great semester so far. I truly believe in the society’s mission statement considering it has helped student members at San Juan College. My favorite event that the society has as a requirement for induction are the SNTs.
This program is design for university students as well as faculty members and staff. In this program, students who went through depressing situations will be running the meetings, however a psychologist will be in charge of the group in order to provide a stable foundation. Having a depression support group will serve to provide physiological support to university students and help ease their burdens of studies. Additionally, this group will benefit SGU academically as it is addressing a problem that affect the studies of students. Although a psychological center is provided, students may feel more comfortable speaking to someone whom been through depression themselves rather than someone who learnt it through books.

The subtitle under the Health and Wellness tab of UHS that I learned more about was depression. Under the subtitle, it defined and explained what depression exactly was and how common it is in general for the population and then in context of college students. It also discusses the many symptoms of depression: loss of pleasure or interests, feelings of agitation, sleep problems, sense of guilt, feelings of hopelessness, and many more. Next, it explains the different types of treatment for depression and emphasizes how self-care is an important part of managing depression. This includes exercising on a regular basis, eating well, avoiding alcohol and drugs, and sleeping enough.
Finding a site that deals with psychiatric rehabilitation can be overwhelming; however with some luck occasionally a visit to a rehabilitation site can reveal some thought-provoking insights. For this assignment I wanted to visit at least one psychiatric rehabilitation location to gather some useful information and understandings. However to my surprise I was able to visit two different psychiatric rehabilitation locations and interview several amazing individuals. Thus, as I started my expedition to visit a psychiatric rehabilitation location the whole expedition eventually became one of the most encouraging expeditions that I have ever done.
(Brumfield). The behavior of depression is usually what you’d expect. “Those with depression are hard to read, are self-aware, and suicidal”. Working in a facility sounds very depressing, trying to help people with these problems every day, but everything is worth
