Over the summer I interned with this amazing company called, The First Tee of Tampa Bay. This organization wasn’t always known as The First Tee of Tampa Bay, when it started in 1991 it was first called Urban Junior Golf at Rogers Park Golf Course in Tampa. The whole concept behind this organization, was to be an affordable and accessible golf organization for those in the inner city to teach them how to become a better person through their Nine Core Values (courtesy, judgement, honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, and perseverance). Their complete mission statement is “The First Tee is a youth development organization introducing the game of golf and its inherent values to young people.
Their machinery is a leading brand that has been around for many years providing solutions for small to large situations. Having such a successful brand when it comes to the construction business can be demanding and because of the type of equipment and the expense, it is important for the company to provide
Its philosophy of creating innovative products, marketing them correctly through well trained sales representatives and managers in addition of providing excellent service to its customers has led to be on the top companies in the defibrillator and monitor markets.
The use of words like “original and most trusted manufacturer of quality targeting, accessories, and tooling components” provides customers with an assurance of quality. It affirms their goals of quality of service and delivery of product. It definitely provides a balance between selling themselves to the customer without being too self-focus. It speaks about the product and not on any individual. The company was humanized by providing contact telephone number where they can be
In the Marine Corps we have a saying, “Marines don’t rise to any occasion we simply default to our level of training”. This simply means that our training prepares us for any mission that we may face from humanitarian missions to conflict over seas. The quality of training may not always be that great, but the effort we put into the training and the emphasis we place on the importance of it allows us to be more effective to the point our training is more rigorous that the actual events themselves. While reading Colorado Christian University (CCU) Strategic Objective—as I was identifying two biblical worldviews—one word stood out to me above all, “shall”. According to (Kohlenberger III, 2015) the word “shall” appears 482 times in the Bible.
The Mission of Duke College is to educate and train students in their chosen profession for employment in a specific career. Duke College is a single campus, located in South Florida, and offers both Associate and Bachelors degree programs in health care and business. The campus will operate under a principle of guidelines in order to provide students with an extraordinary educational experience and to enforce a positive atmosphere throughout the school and the community. These principles include: having integrity, being supportive to students, different departments will be required to work together as a team, owning mistakes and using them as an opportunity to grow, and being the best you can be at your job. These standards will help to promote
My high school’s mission of promoting “leadership for the public good” has become incredibly important to me, and I aim to follow this model as I continue to learn and grow in college and beyond. I firmly believe in approaching education as a means of improving oneself for the sake of enhancing a broader community, and I am confident that Northwestern is the perfect setting for me to do so. I hope to pursue a study in communications, where I can explore human interaction in an era when developments in technology, government, and economies are rapid and constant. I have a passion for learning about people: how they think, how they have evolved, how they interact, and why they behave the way they do. To understand communication in all its forms,
The University of Notre Dame is known for its rigure and deep passion for learning, both of which are what I am looking for in a college. The praises I hear being spoken about this institution, the rich tradition, and call for excellence that is exemplified in this school, is attention-grabbing. The mission statement talks about searching for truth, having sensibility to poverty and injustice, and ultimately using the power of education to bring about justice in a world that is in dire need for citizens and leaders that love people and who use their gifts and abilities to enable others to live intelligent and fruitful lives. This is how I want to live. Notre Dame is a place that I know would push me to ask the hard questions and would provide
American Campus Communities mission states “Delivering the best possible student experience just doesn’t happen. It takes an unrelenting commitment to students, parents, and educational institutions. It also takes a corporate client built on shared values, a higher purpose, and a team of people who truly love what they do” (ACC 2016). This sounds like a very strong mission, but is this reflected on their website?
Almost there. Almost to high school. This year so far has been a whole mix of emotions. I'm happy that schools almost over. I'm sad that I'm leaving most of my friends.
Student Affairs officials are ever-evolving; student administrators, faculty, and staff are creating ways to be creative in-out of the classroom. Indeed, challenges arrive while working tirelessly carrying the mission statement of the university framing it into their everyday work with students. However, challenges were stemmed from my position as a Step-Student Diversity Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh. Many students of color predominately African American students struggled with the culture-shock of the University. The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is extremely conservative practicing the culture ethos for the majority of the student population.
For high school, I attended a private Christian institution located in a dying, once steel-powered community. My high school has a long, storied history since its establishment in the early half of the twentieth century. It remains linked to the past through the mantra of honoring traditions, being loyal to the school, and to have unwavering school pride. Each student is tasked with honoring this mission statement or risk being kindly asked to not return the next school year. Each student who attends is required to maintain moral values and is challenged academically.
Task 1-Vision,Mission,Goals and Objectives My Mission Statement To work hard and do the best to my abilities in all I do, to have respect towards others and to listen to those who are wiser and have more to teach me. I believe that everything happens for a reason. My golden rule is IF IT IS MEANT TO BE IT WILL HAPPEM.
