Managers make many decisions every day. Thankfully there are many tools available to a manager as they make these decisions. Great leaders are almost always great simplifiers, who can cut through argument, debate and doubt, to offer a solution everybody can understand. The purpose of this paper is to interview a manager from an organization and find out the leadership styles used to manage effectively the staff there. This paper also looks at the approach used toward employment satisfaction, how manager motivates the employees and analyzes the different approaches employed in the job. The manager that I interviewed works in Eaton Aerospace. His name is Thomas Ramirez, and he is a production supervisor. I have been working with him for the past four years as an employee of the company. As my manager, he has motivated me and helped me be a good team player at the organization. General Background and Responsibilities: The company was founded in 1911 with the name of Torbensen Gear and Axle, which led the way to what over 100 years later is Eaton Corporation, a global leader in power management and sustainability. He is technically efficient because, he had the ability to perform many of the tasks of the employees under his charge, lay out a production schedule. He had to have Interpersonal Skill to work effectively as a team member. He stated the best approach to managing this type of business was the behavioral approach because you had to understand the psychological makeup of many different kinds of people. He thinks that cultural diversity in the company is a must because the condition of the corporation requires, besides there are many individuals who have different types of celebrations and the manager always have to have someone who can take over the
