The reason I am choosing to attend university is quite simple; education is a path to knowledge, while knowledge is a path to a successful life. An education in business, I believe attributes to that possible success. My goal in life is to be successful and that path starts in this course. Business 100 is an introductory class in my university journey; a new environment which will pose as a challenge and some taking used to although I believe I expect myself to succeed. However as a first year student with a full-time job and a family to take care of this is not going to be easy. This will be a challenge, even so with hard work, dedication and persistence I believe I will not only be successful but thrive.
University has always been a goal in life, I credit my father for setting me on this path. My father was not one for education by any means, although it was something he preached and instilled in me as I was growing up. He emphasized the fact that university is a doorway to many things including a successful career. By the time I was in grade eight I knew that I wanted to pursue a university education. My goal was to make it to university; now something I have done, my new goal is to achieve success at this level of education and eventually earn a degree in Business. However with that being said this will not be easily achievable.
