Personal Statement: Alabama Curriculum For Career Technical Education

As accomplished teacher I am dedicated to making sure each student is given a chance to learn. In addition to my belief our students can learn, each student should be treated equally. However, each student should have a personal learning style and as educator I will be able to meet the needs of the each student. As educator I provide a personal learning network for each student. The environment for the personal network is a safe and nurturing. This personal network is also based on the student’s interests, abilities, skills, and knowledge and family circumstances.

As an accomplished teacher I understand how my students mature and learn. I understand that a student’s culture plays a big part in the students learning and also their behaviors.

By attaining these degrees I demonstration a deep and board content of knowledge in my field of Business education. I use the Alabama state department of education curriculum. My lesson plans are constructed from various materials. My foundation is the Alabama Curriculum for Career Technical Education. My supplements are It Microsoft academy, EBooks, ISTE papers, and other state standards. While using the internet I make sure to explain the contents and when the student’s answers question they have to provide the evidence to support their response. While planning my lesson plans I anticipate the misconceptions difficulties and confusion that a student might have, I adjust the instructions accordingly. With the technology students are given a mass amount of data. For me the best way to teach is to model variety of strategies and that helps the student develop a better understanding of the subject matter. I also link the subject matter to everyday situations and to other subjects. Class discussions provides methods of the students bringing prior knowledge to the subject and a chance to reflect diversity and emphasize the commonality of all people. After the class discussion I use variety of ways to check modifies my instructions. With modeling how the classroom is just a model of society. It also prepares the students for real life situations. My classroom is a learning environment

As accomplish teacher I create an environment that encourages risk-taking, probe, determination, and teamwork, and that fosters independent values. I assess student progress—and I demonstrate to students how to assess their own improvement. After observing student both formal and informal I am proficient at grouping students and at regulating the pace of instruction. As accomplished teacher, it is important that my instructions are understood by each student before starting an activity. In addition, I use different methods to keep the students motivated, engaged and focused. Assessment is not always done for the purpose of recording grades; rather, it allows myself and my students inspect our current status. Accom-plished teachers evaluate students to determine what they have learned from instruction, whether that instruction is a week of lessons on life cycles, a unit of Employability skills, or a semester of HTML training. Although some of the students outspoken, I use my classroom management to help keep the activity on point. Each student is asses as well as the whole class. The class gives me an opportunities to use multiple methods for measuring student growth and understanding. It also used as evidence when explaining the student performance to parents.
