The institution that I am currently employed conduct various staff development projects to assist their employees in keeping current with their current practices. The learning theory that aligns with the organization staff development program is the transformational learning theory by Jack Mizirow. In this model, the company aims to transform the current way of doing things and to embrace changes within the organization. The transformational learning is appropriate for the enterprise because it enables employees to reflect on their past experiences and to accept changes (Merriam, 2014).
