Steve Jobs: Motivation and Determination Steve Jobs, the genius who had a GPA of just 2.65 and who revolutionized modern technology, once said “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. An example of this would be when he went to India after he dropped out of college. While he was in India, he became a vegetarian, started seeking guru, and became a hippie. What was significant about his visit to India was that it broadened his eyes to issues around him, Seeing the poverty, the sickness, and primitive living conditions, Jobs began to rethink his choices. Ann Brashares stated, “Jobs later said that Thomas Edison had done more for the human condition than any guru”(Brashares 13).
