Why do you want to teach? There are many different reasons why people want to become teachers for example, the long summer vacations, job security, or they have an interest in the subject matter. Those reasons do not apply to why I choose to become a teacher. The two reasons, I choose to become a teacher are one because I love to work with children, and second is the influence of my family to do what I would love to do. The main reason I wanted to become a teacher is because, I love to work with children. It has always been second nature to me to help children with learning new things. Also, working with children has always but a smile on my face. You build your own special bond with your students. As a teacher you build strong bonds with your students. Those strong bonds help with your students learn. Your students start trusting you and you begin to trust them too. Also with those bonds you learn how your students learn the best and you get the joy when they have finally grasped a concept. When a student understands a concept they have been struggling with; it feels amazing. My love of working with children is one reason I choose to teach; the other reason is the influence and support from my family. …show more content…

I remember when I was a young girl I wanted to be a veterinarian and my parents were all for it. At this time I was six years old; I realized years later that I did not want to be a veterinarian. This change I made did not disappoint my family they just simply asked me what I would like to do. I told them I wasn’t sure yet and I knew that didn’t bother them because they knew I would figure it out one day. When I did figure out that I wanted to be a teacher they were 100% supportive and helped me in many different ways.
