I chose to apply to the University of Pennsylvania because it is an amazing institution that will allow me to explore my intellectual and academic interests and it would bring me great pleasure to earn a degree from this institution. Furthermore, this university is far from home and it will allow me to transition from a dependent young adult to an independent adult. I am applying for the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business for my primary undergraduate school.
When I first heard about this university, I looked into the majors it provided and the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business really caught my attention. Earning two degrees would be beneficial for me because I will be able to extend my ambition in education. For my high school years, I took on Dual Credit classes, Advanced Placement classes and Pre-AP classes. Therefore, time management was a must in order to accomplish every task at hand and to attend my extracurricular duties. Furthermore, this program will not impose stress on me, instead it will allow me to pursue my interest in learning and having new experiences.

Throughout my high school years, I have had good grades and have learned to be patient and friendly to all those around me. I find this quality to be essential in pursuing any major or obtaining any job. The University of Pennsylvania will also allow me to flourish and accomplish great things. I have a great interest in business but unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to take business classes at my high school.
