Educational Philosophy Statement

The experiences that I have mentioned in the experience profile, have had an immense, positive impact on my goals and aspirations. Through these experiences, not only have I gotten the chance to contribute to the community, but my desire to educate our society’s future dreamers has been strengthened and the appreciation I have for my teachers has grown. Our teachers put in their time to support us, guide us, and educate us so that we can lead brighter futures. To do all of that, every day, is not an easy task, teaching can be exhausting, but it is worth every ounce of effort, especially when you see your students’ curiosity flourish, and when you are awarded with a better society resulting from the seeds of knowledge you have had the privilege to sow. These experiences mentioned before, hold some of my most cherished memories. They have shown me that a job can be fun.
Many of these opportunities have allowed me to spend one-on-one time with children, resulting in a deeper understanding of what motivates students to learn and methods that allow them to succeed. Not only have I experienced life as a teacher, but also as a student, …show more content…

Education has the power to improve a person’s life drastically, which is one of the many things I love about it. I have babysat children who, at first, were not very sociable, and were hesitant to interact with other children, however after trying my hardest to motivate them and encourage them to open up and to accomplish their fears, this effort was rewarded with happy children who were able to make friends and enjoy playing with them. Seeing the change I was able to help make, felt astonishing , I felt happy, and this tiny accomplishment was a great step towards my future
