In the Cambridge Dictionary, leadership, is defined as people who are in charge of a government or a group. The Cambridge Dictionary also defines leadership as having the quality or ability that makes a person a leader, or the position of being a leader. I agree with the Cambridge Dictionary; However, I must add, that leaders are not born with these abilities, but they are molded by pinacol points within their life that paved the path to become a great leader. In our history we have heard and read of many leaders that transformed our very present life. Although their approach was unique they all had one thing in common, a vision.
Growing up in a low poverty level, my vision was to use my life experiences as building blocks to succeed in anything that I set my mind too. Today, I am proud to have had this positive outlook in life, because it lead me to represent organizations, institutes, and communities with leadership roles. I have always enjoyed being part of groups that lead in transforming potentials into accomplishments. As an interested candidate in becoming a future Facility Administrator, I desire to genuinely lead and inspire my team to become the best version of themselves for DaVita patients and their families. As a leader, what I am most passionate about is establishing a sound foundation that holds true to the morals and values of the organizations vision. I want to help every team member become integrated for the best interest of the team, by finding ways to connect with each individual, so that I may utilize their strengths and weaknesses in collaboration to be successful.
