For my interview, the aging individual is a person I have known my whole life. Though she is not blood related, she is considered family, and an important person in my life. I chose her because I have seen her go through the aging process in a positive, and inspirational way. I could never forget the thrill when I conducted the first experiment under grandpa’s guidance. Personal statement Most people knew exactly what they wanted to be "since they were five". I never had a specific idea of who or what I wanted to be when I was that age and I certainly didn’t have a passion for English. In fact I wasn’t able to read or write until I was the age of seven, despite being at a disadvantage I used that as incentive to work twice as hard as the other students. However my interest for English literature only truly started to blossom at the age of thirteen when my sister lent me one of her book series.
