Why is leadership Important to me
Leadership is pivotal to the success of career path. It could not only help us achieve team goals with enhancing moral, improved collaboration and effective decision, but also build well-developed network for us and create more chance to get promotion or achieve personal goals. Leadership is the soul for a team or an organization. Thus, focusing on developing our leadership skills would ensure us a better career development and become a good leader. To improve leadership, we should identify our personality and leadership styles first to analyze our own strengths and weaknesses. Finally, we will know what is our own core competence and how to we improve leadership skills.

They have strong willing power to achieve success, have accurate instinct to make decisions; they grow with every experience and recognize their needs.3 One could understand himself better with his strength and take advantage of strength to achieve success. My leadership style is thoughtful, determined, and process-oriented.
Considerable and thoughtful leadership will benefit me from being well prepared. I would like to observe, watch and listen to what is happening around; and then, explore and be curious. When facing with great tasks, I would get into deep thinking. When engaging with people, I would be aware of their tone, mood and feelings. I think about the potential implications for myself and the other people around. I will have detailed plan and schedule for myself both in the long run and short run. I would like to provide ideas during meetings. Also, I care for others’ feelings. And I am a creative person who loves brainstorm. They think about the potential implications for themselves and the other people around them. I would love to try my best to understand the concept of cause and effect, thinking about how to get the most desired reaction for the effort. They make people around them feel important and worthy of time and
