“When you die, do you think it is going to matter if you are a gangster? If you had swag? Or you were dressed a certain way? You’re dead, you are going to rot. And when you rot, no one is going to remember you. Because all you left behind in the world was something nobody care about”. This is a quote from the movie “The Freedom Writers” the movie inspired me a lot to want to become a teacher. One reason I would like to become a teacher would be I enjoy helping others and being a leader. I would have to be a positive influence and teach students not only the subject I decide to teach but life lessons and challenges they might come across. Another reason why I would consider teaching as a career because every day is unpredictable, meaning the students are different every day. Every year you get a new group of students that help grow into successful adults with a great educational experience. I believe each student is different in their own way. I want to be able to support my students with their ideas. Also, I believe that parents should be allowed to choose where their children gets an education, so they are able to stop the trend of …show more content…

The teachers should give the student instructions to help the students achieve a task they teacher had made for them. The student’s role in the classroom is to participate in class discussions not only with the teacher but with other classmates too. They should be actively learning to help expand their knowledge to be able to be successful in future grade levels. The classroom should be a positive and safe place for the students. I want them to feel comfortable when they come into my classroom to feel excited to be in my class and not feel out of place. I will have positive quotes on my walls and hang some of their activities that they worked on to show them their hard work looks
