Students receive the essential skills and tools necessary to build the foundation for a successful future through education. As a teacher, I have the privilege of shaping future members of society and my goal is to produce citizens who make our world a better place. I aspire to be a teacher that instills in each student a passion for learning and a love for themselves. My goal is to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment and create a classroom that ignites students’ genuine thirst for knowledge.
The following four statements are my core views and beliefs on education and teaching. My philosophy is built on the idea that all students are precious and are the central focus in my classroom. I am committed to supporting the learning of each and every student and believe whole-heartedly that every student is capable of success.

I can reach my students more successfully when my students trust me and know that I want what is best for them. The relationship includes connecting with my students and knowing about their lives inside and outside of school. Positive peer relationships are also instrumental in creating a positive learning environment because it allows students to feel as though they fit in and are accepted. This acceptance takes away uncertainties and fears and motivates students to respect their teacher and fellow students.

 Every Student is an Individual
Students learn through the result of different life experiences, which condition them to act and learn in certain ways. Differentiating in the classroom is important in order to achieve individual student growth. Students have diverse strengths and weaknesses, which need to be attended to differently. As the teacher, it is my job to know my students and modify my lessons for the individual needs of the students.
