In conclusion, gun control is a broken social contract in America that needs to be changed. In order to change this social contract, more restrictions on guns should be made. People who intend to own a gun should take gun safety classes and go through certain procedures such as mental health tests and background checks in every state. All fifty states in America should abide by the same gun restriction laws. What is significant about gun control is that the right to bear arms varies from state to state, affects American citizens and police, and is a threat to American society. The different variables of gun laws from state to state can contradict the safety of laws when a person can simply leave their state of residency with bad intentions.
