Animal testing is the act of using non-human animals for research and scientific experiments. Each year, millions of animals, such as rats, mice, and monkeys, are being tortured for research. Many people think that these experiments are necessary due to being able to develop a new medicine, others believe that these experiments are outdated and cruel. However, the real question is - is it worth it? Animals should not be tested as they do not deserve to have different toxins tested on them. They are being tortured by harmful chemicals which could lead to them being unable to reproduce, and thus to possible extinction. How would you feel if you were an animal and tested with injurious chemicals?
Yearly, millions of animals are being poisoned, blinded and killed by poisonous and immoral chemical tests. They inhale harmful chemicals that burn their insides out. These animals are trapped behind cold cages and baby monkeys are separated from their mothers just to be tested on. Monkeys and cats are being put on restraint chairs just so they can have chemicals forced up their noses. Around 25 billion animals are being

In this article, it stated that research agencies had ordered UK scientists to improve the way they use animals in experiments. Too often poorly designed projects – to test new medicines for strokes, cancer, and other conditions – have produced meaningless results and wasted animals’ lives. Is it really worth blinding a monkey to have new eyeliner? It is incredibly cruel that these animals are left in cages for the rest of their lives and are only let out when they are being tested and sometimes they are put down after they have been testing on or put back into their cages. It is unethical. Imagine sitting in a cage for the rest of your life and then being taken out to be tested on. It is unbelievably unpleasant and
